The Basics
You are all set to start learning the basics of music! Make sure you have one of the online pianos from Getting Started pulled up in a seperate window or in the background to come back and forth between tabs.
There will be two sections to learning music:
- Reading Notes: This is where you will grasp the basic understanding of how to read notes on a piece of music. There are different ways to read but we will start on the easiest methods.
- Tempo: After reading notes, keeping time with the song, known as the tempo, is the next most important basic to learning music.
